Submit New Amendment/Resolution

This form is for use by persons nominated to submit motions carried by a Queensland Labor Party Unit (e.g. a local branch). Individuals intending to move motions at their Local Policy Conferences are also highly encouraged to use this form, to put your motion on the Agenda.

The deadline for submissions to Local Policy Conferences is noon (12pm) of the Friday immediately preceding the Conference. Any motions not submitted by then must be moved at the Local Policy Conference using a paper submission form.

Policy Amendments (A) are changes to the text of the State Platform or another document (e.g. Rules). Those documents can be found here:

Conference Resolutions (R) are calls to action between one State Conference and the next.  Resolutions do not alter the text of State Platform, and expire at the start of the following State Conference.

On completion of this form, a copy of the submission will be sent automatically to the email address you provide as the Submitter of the motion. If you need to follow up, query, or correct the motion, please email policy.council@qld.alp.org.au
